She is a stage actress and writer who has appeared on the television shows Full House (1986), Fuller House (2017) and Days of Our Lives (1955). Her former husband was Jeremy Rytky. Andrea Barber chose to abandon Hollywood after Full House concluded in 1995 and instead go to college in pursuit of a degree. Barber quit acting when Full House finished. She was a graduate of Whittier College, earned an M.A. in women's studies from the University of York in England and then went back to work for her college of choice.
